2) Can pregnant guests participate?
Yes. This poolside, out-of-water encounter is the only dolphin interaction at the park available to guests who are pregnant. Please consult your physician before participating.
3) Do I need to know how to swim?
No. The Meet & Greet takes place on a platform beside the pool. You’ll stay dry, with only the possibility of light splashes.
4) How long is the experience?
Plan on a 15–30 minute educational briefing followed by about 10–15 minutes on the platform with a trainer and a resident dolphin. From check-in to finish, expect roughly 60 minutes.
5) What will we do with the dolphin? Will everyone get the same behaviors?
Each session is unique, but guests typically enjoy trainer-guided moments to touch and interact with the dolphin, and—when offered—a supervised feed. The trainer ensures each participant gets comparable time and similar behaviors.

A professional photography team captures close-up moments you can review and purchase as prints or digital downloads. You may take personal photos from designated viewing areas, but angles and distance can limit results compared to the on-platform photographers.
8) Will I get wet? What should I wear?
You may experience light splashes. Wear comfortable, quick-dry clothing and secure footwear with good traction. For photos, consider removing sunglasses if conditions allow, and avoid any jewelry.
9) What time should I arrive?
Arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled program to allow time for parking, check-in, the safety briefing, and getting settled.
10) What is the group size?
Groups are typically 10–12 participants with a dedicated trainer and one or more dolphins, allowing everyone meaningful time at the platform.

12) Are there age or supervision rules?
Infants and toddlers must be held by a paid adult participant. One adult is required for every three participating children under age 10. Guests ages 10–17 must be accompanied to the park by a paying adult (observer or participant).
13) What language is the program conducted in?
The program is conducted in English. Participants must be able to follow instructions in English or attend with a paid family member or friend who can translate.

16) What else can we do the same day?

Client Feedback
Swimming with the dolphins at Dolphin World Miami was absolutely amazing! The staff was professional, friendly, and made the whole experience fun and safe. The dolphins were playful, gentle, and clearly well cared for. It was surreal being in the water with them and learning about their personalities up close. The facility was clean, well-maintained, and everything was organized perfectly. Truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience — I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Miami!
Was injured in April 2024 and couldn’t make it . They honored my credit in Aug 2025 and it was great ! Star the dolphin was my uber and i don’t even know how to swim
We have been to dolphin swim before and this is by far the best one we have been to. The other ones were too crowded too many people in the groups but here we experienced a more one on one time feel with the Dolphins and felt relaxed rather than being rushed through for the next group of people like the other places so we will definitely be back and I will spread the word that this is definitely the best thank you so much we love Dolphins!!! Even as a kid my dream job was to become a dolphin trainer and to be able to work with and care for Dolphins they are such magnificent mammals!!!
We loved it, we’re coming back with my grandson, my granddaughter had a great time and I know he will also
This was awesome! The staff was not only knowledgeable and friendly but seemed to enjoy answering all of our questions. The dolphins were incredible as well. Spending time with them so closely and getting to learn about them and witness their behavior was an amazing experience. Loved it!
